  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cooking oil - 1/4 c
  • can cream-style corn - 1 item
  • corn meal - 1 c
  • shredded Longhorn or Cheddar cheese
  • can small green chilies, chopped - 1 item

How to make mexican corn bread:

Beat eggs and oil. Add corn, milk and dry ingredients, beating lightly after each addition. Add chili peppers and half of cheese. Pour into a greased dish and cover with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Good with any kind of cooked dried bean.
