Ingredients/Components
- cornmeal - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/3 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- hot salsa - 1 (8
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
How to make mexican corn bread:
In a mixing bowl, combine first six ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients; add this to dry ingredients and mix only until moistened. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or pan.
