Mexican chef salad
Ingredients/Components
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- head lettuce, chopped - 1 item
- tomatoes, diced - 4 item
- teaspoon salt - 1/ item
- pound ground beef, browned and drained - 1 item
- 4-ounces cheddar cheese, grated
- 8-ounces Thousand Island or Catalina dressing
- medium bag tortilla chips, crumbled - 1 item
- large avocado, sliced - 1 item
- 1-15 ounce can kidney beans drained
How to make mexican chef salad:
Toss onion, tomatoes, and lettuce with cheese and salad dressing. Add tortilla chips and avocado. Add salt and beans to browned meat; simmer for 10 minutes. Add to salad. Garnish with tortilla chips, avocado and tomato slices. Serves 10-12.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
