Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 4 c
  • can chopped green chilies, drained - 1 oz
  • jar diced pimiento, drained - 1 oz
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • soft butter - 1/4 c
  • red pepper - 1/4 1/2
  • additional red pepper - 1 item

How to make mexican cheese ball:

Combine water and dip mix in a small bowl; stir well and set aside. Combine cheese, chilies and pimiento; stir well. Add mayonnaise, butter, red pepper and dip mix; stir well. Chill and shape into a ball; sprinkle with additional red pepper. Serve with tortilla chips. Yield: 4 cups.
