Mexican casserole
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- grated cheese - 15 oz
- ground beef - 2 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- can mild enchilada sauce - 1 item
- can chopped chili peppers - 1 item
- frozen tortillas - 12 item
- garlic bud - 1 item
- 1/2 large onion, chopped - 1 item
How to make mexican casserole:
Brown meat, onion and garlic, drain grease. Add enchilada sauce. Simmer 20 minutes. In saucepan, heat soup, chili pepper and water. Grease baking dish and line with tortillas, cut into quarters. Add in layers meat, soup and cheese. Start over with tortillas, ending with cheese on top. Cover, let set 1 hour, then bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Casseroles, North american, Mexican.
