Mexican bean dip



  • sour cream - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • ground black pepper - 1 item
  • finely chopped onions - 1/4 c
  • picante sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped jalapenos - 1 Tbsp
  • can black beans - 1 oz
  • grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

How to make mexican bean dip:

Preheat oven to 350°. Drain beans and discard juice. Mash beans with fork, leaving some chunks. Add remaining ingredients, but reserve cheese. Mix well and pour in 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly. Serve with nachos.
