Mexican bean dip
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- can refried beans - 1 item
- finely grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- jar salsa Ortega thick and chunky works best - 1 item
- bunch green onions, chopped including greens - 1 item
How to make mexican bean dip:
Mix beans with 1 to 2 tablespoons salsa until creamy. Spread on bottom of container (quiche dish works perfectly). Cover bean with layer of salsa. Next, layer green onions. Spread sour cream over onion layer. Cover entire top with cheese. Chill 1 to 2 hours before serving to let flavors set. Serve with tortilla chips.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Beans.
