- salt
- hot water - 2 c
- diced onion - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- hamburger - 1 lb
- diced green bell pepper - 1/2 c
- rice raw, uncooked - 1 c
How to make mexicali rice:
In medium saucepan, brown ground beef and drain. Add onion, pepper, mustard, tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil. Add salt and rice. Mix well. Cover pan and over low heat, cook down until rice is tender and dish is thick (15 to 20 minutes). MakeRecipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Rice.
