Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- pkg - 6 oz
- egg whites - 2 item
- broken walnut meats - 1/2 c
How to make meringue cookies:
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Beat in sugar slowly until peaks form. Fold in bits and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful on 2 foil covered cookie sheets. Have oven preheated to 425° and turn it off when you put cookies in it. Leave in 10 to 12 hours. Makes 30 to 35.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
