Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/4 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- large egg whites - 4 item
How to make meringue:
Heat oven to 350°. Beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in cornstarch and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla at high speed until stiff, but not dry. Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Low fat, Condiments, etc..
