Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 Tbsp
- cornstarch
- water - 1/2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg whites - 3 item
How to make meringue:
Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and salt. Cook until thick and clear. Cool. Beat egg whites until they peak. Continue beating while adding cooked mixture. Beat 5 minutes. Pile on pie, sealing edges to crust. Bake at 450° until golden.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Low fat, Condiments, etc..
