Meatballs stroganoff



  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • water
  • all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
  • paprika - 2 tsp
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • parsley - 1/4 c
  • chopped parsley - 1/3 c
  • dry bread crumbs
  • 1 pt - 2 c
  • ground pork - 2 lb
  • Mix thoroughly

How to make meatballs stroganoff:

Combine beef, pork, onions, bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, eggs and milk in large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Then, using a tablespoon shape into 1-inch balls. Place meatballs in ungreased flat 10 x 15-inch pan 1-inch apart. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, turning frequently, browning on all sides. Keep warm in 200° oven or store in freezer.Sauce for Meatballs:1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or magarine1/2 c. all-purpose flour2 tsp. paprika1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper1 1/2 c. water2 c. (1 pt.) sour cream1/3 c. chopped parsley Melt butter in large saucepan. Add flour, paprika, salt and pepper, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in water, keeping sauce smooth. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until sauce thickens. Gradually stir in sour cream and keep on low heat until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle sauce with parsley. To serve, place meatballs in chafing dish. Spoon sauce over. Garnish with parsley flakes.
