Meatballs in beer
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1 item
- ketchup - 2 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- horseradish - 1 tsp
- beer - 2 c
- dashes about Tabasco sauce - 4 item
How to make meatballs in beer:
Combine first 6 ingredients in saucepan; simmer 20 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients; form into small meatballs. Brown in oven; drain fat. Add meatballs to beer sauce; simmer 10 minutes (I add 1/2 cup or more brown sugar to beer sauce, depending how sweet you want it).Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Pork.
