Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- catsup
- chopped onions - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 3 lb
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- liquid smoke or to taste about 3/4 tsp - 1/2 tsp
How to make meatballs:
Sauce:2 c. catsup1 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. liquid smoke or to taste (about 3/4 tsp.)1/2 tsp. garlic powder1/4 c. chopped onions To make meatballs, combine all ingredients. Mixture will be soft. Shape into balls. Place meatballs in a single layer on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Freeze. Store meatballs in freezer bags.To make sauce, combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved. Place frozen meatballs in cake pan. Pour on sauce. Bake uncovered at 350° for 1 hour. Yield: 80.
