Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • salad oil - 2 Tbsp
  • ground beef
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • onion, finely chopped - 1/4 c
  • marjoram - 1/2 tsp
  • thyme - 1/4 tsp
  • beef broth - 1 (10
  • can condensed tomato soup - 1 item
  • medium potatoes, quartered - 4 item
  • small white onions, peeled - 8 item
  • carrots, peeled and cut in 1-inch chunks - 4 item

How to make meatball stew:

Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg and seasonings (except parsley). Roll into meat balls. Brown in oil in 4-quart Dutch oven. Combine soup and broth in Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add parsley.
