Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1 c
  • ground beef - 3 lb
  • small can tomato paste - 1 item
  • garlic - 1/4 tsp
  • vinegar optional - 1 Tbsp
  • small can tomatoes - 1 item
  • can mushrooms optional - 1 item

How to make meat sauce:

Saute beef, onions and green pepper, cooking until beef is brown; drain. Add remaining ingredients; mix together. Simmer for 1 hour. Serve over spaghetti.
