Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1/3 oz
  • mustard - 2 Tbsp
  • hamburger
  • tomato sauce
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • saltine crackers - 14 item
  • chopped green pepper optional - 1 item

How to make meat loaf:

Sauce:10 oz. tomato sauce1/2 c. water3 Tbsp. brown sugar2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce2 Tbsp. mustard2 Tbsp. vinegar Mix the first 8 ingredients and form and place in loaf pan. Then mix the last 6 ingredients and pour over meat loaf. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. Drain off the excess sauce and serve.
