Meat and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- melted oleo - 2 Tbsp
- frozen corn, thawed - 1 pkg
- hamburg - 1 lb
- thin sliced potatoes - 4 c
- can any cream soup - 1 item
How to make meat and potato casserole:
Toss potatoes with butter and salt, arrange on bottom and up sides of greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes at 400° or until tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown beef. Sprinkle beef and corn over potatoes. Combine soup, milk, garlic powder, pepper, onions and 1/2 cup cheese; pour over beef. Bake at 400°, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, top with remaining cheese and return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
