Matzo stuffing
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- ginger - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- sage - 1 tsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- marjoram - 1 tsp
- thyme - 1 tsp
- rosemary - 1 tsp
- onions - 1/4 c
- matzo crumbs - 3 c
- celery with the leaves - 1/4 c
How to make matzo stuffing:
Place matzo crumbs in large bowl. Finely chop onions and celery and add to crumbs. Measure out spices and add to mixture. Heat chicken stock until hot but not boiling. Whip egg slightly with fork. Add butter, egg and hot stock to the matzo crumb mixture. Toss mixture until moistened.
