Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1 tsp
- egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
- leftover mashed potatoes - 2 c
- little flour - 1 item
- Crisco for pan frying - 1 item
How to make mashed potato cakes:
Combine potatoes, egg, onion and parsley. Shape into round cakes, about 3/4-inches thick. Roll in flour. Bake cakes on both sides until brown in hot Crisco. Very good.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, North american.
