Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 3 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- can coconut - 1 oz
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
- boxes confectioners sugar - 2 item
- cake paraffin - 3/4 item
- 1/4 sticks margarine - 1 item
How to make martha washington candy:
Melt butter to lukewarm; mix nuts, coconut, sugar and milk. Add butter and vanilla. Roll into little balls and place on cookie sheet covered with waxed paper. Stick a toothpick into each ball. Put in freezer about 15 or 20 minutes.Melt paraffin and chocolate in double boiler and dip each ball in. Hold about 2 seconds or until chocolate hardens. It takes a big bowl to mix this in. Sometimes you have to knead it with your hands like biscuit dough.
