Marshmallow creme
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- Karo
- small box jello any flavor - 1 item
How to make marshmallow creme:
Cook the first 3 ingredients to soft ball stage (almost 250°). While this is cooling, put the following in a large bowl: 1/2 cup Karo (at room temperature) and the egg whites; beat slowly until mixed, then beat hard until fluffy. Beat in first mixture in a fine stream. When all mixed, add the vanilla. Beat hard for 3 minutes. May add the jello (any flavor).Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., North american, Copycat.
