Marshmallow bars



Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 6 oz
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 2/3 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 3 c
How to make marshmallow bars:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, 1 cup butter and vanilla; blend well. Spread in prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes; remove from oven. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven; bake 5 to 6 minutes until marshmallows are slightly melted. In top of double boiler, melt chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter. Add water and stir until smooth. Drizzle over marshmallows. Cool and cut into bars.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
