Marsala chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- ground ginger - 1 tsp
- plain yogurt - 1/2 c
- finely chopped onions - 2 item
- ripe tomatoes, chopped - 2 item
- red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cumin - 1/2 Tbsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- coriander - 1 Tbsp
- pinch of black pepper - 1 item
- chicken legs, skinned - 8 item
- to 3 cloves ground garlic - 2 item
How to make marsala chicken:
Heat oil in large pan. Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown, then add all the spices. Fry for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and fry to form a paste. (You may have to add 1/4 cup water.) Now add the chicken and yogurt. Cover pan. After 2 minutes, lower heat to medium and cook until chicken is very tender.
