Marinated veggie salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- pepper - 2 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can green beans - 1 oz
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
- can Shoepeg corn - 1 oz
- can English peas - 1 item
- small jar pimento, chopped - 1 item
How to make marinated veggie salad:
Mix first 6 ingredients together and boil until sugar dissolves. When cool, add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate to marinate at least 8 hours.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Northeastern U.S..
