Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- white vinegar - 3/4 c
- can LeSueur peas - 1 lb
- can Shoe Peg corn - 1 lb
- can French-cut green beans - 1 lb
- medium size jar pimentos - 1 item
How to make marinated vegetables:
Drain all vegetables well. Heat sugar, vinegar, oil, water, salt and pepper. Heat to dissolve sugar. Let cool and pour over vegetables. Let marinate overnight before serving.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Vegetables.
