Ingredients/Components
- salt
- pepper
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- green pepper, diced - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1 item
- can French style green beans - 1 item
- cup oil - 1/2 item
- can white shoepeg corn - 1 item
- cups vinegar - 2/3 item
- small jar pimentos - 1 item
- can LeSeur peas - 1 item
How to make marinated vegetables:
Marinating Sauce:1/2 tsp. pepper1 cup sugar2/3 cups vinegar1 tsp. salt1/2 cup oil Drain vegetables and pimentos. Combine with pepper and onion. Combine marinating sauce ingredients and pour over vegetables. Prepare approximately 24 hours ahead and refrigerate.NOTE: Yellow kernel corn can be substituted if white shoepeg corn isn't available. ALSO, if you double the recipe, kit isn't necessary to double the marinating sauce.
