Marinated vegetable salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
- jar diced pimento drained - 1 oz
- can French-style green beans drained - 1 oz
- can green peas drained - 1 oz
- can Shoepeg corn drained - 1 oz
How to make marinated vegetable salad:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool. Combine vegetables, and stir in vinegar mixture. Cover and chill at least 8 hours, stirring occasionally. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Salads, Marinades and rubs.
