Marinated shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- salad oil
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- shrimp
- white vinegar - 3/4 c
- sliced onions - 1 pt
- mixed pickling spices - 1/4 c
- celery tops - 1/2 c
- or 8 bay leaves - 7 item
- capers with juice
How to make marinated shrimp:
Boil shrimp in enough water to cover. Add celery tops, salt and spices. Cook 10 to 12 minutes. Drain shrimp and cool with cold water. Peel under cold running water. Alternate shrimp and sliced onions in shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over shrimp and onions.
