Marinated cucumbers



Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- salad oil - 2 tsp
- dried basil, crushed - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- several dashes of bottled hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- small onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- sliced radishes - 1/2 c
- lettuce leaves optional - 4 item
How to make marinated cucumbers:
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the first 7 ingredients. Add cucumbers and onion; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.Before serving: Toss radishes with cucumbers and onions and serve on lettuce-lined plates (if desired). Makes 4 servings.
