Ingredients/Components
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- dash of ground ginger - 1 item
- soy sauce
- teriyaki sauce - 3 Tbsp
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- Cornish game hens - 4 item
- cloves garlic, sliced - 2 item
How to make marinated cornish game hens:
Marinade:3 Tbsp. soy sauce3 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce2 Tbsp. honey1 Tbsp. lemon juice dash of ground ginger dash of black pepper2 cloves garlic, sliced Remove bags with liver and neck from hens. Wash hens well and pat dry. Rub hens with oil. Prepare the marinade. Place hens either in a glass bowl or in 2 plastic bags. Pour marinade over hens. Let hens marinate overnight in refrigerator, turning hens or bags over occasionally. Remove hens from marinade and place on rack in roasting pan. Roast hens at 400° for 50 to 60 minutes, turning once during cooking time and basting with marinade occasionally.Recipe categories: Main dish, Poultry, Meat.
