Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- catsup - 1 can
- carrots - 1 lb
- sliced onion - 1 item
- green pepper - 1 item
- can whole corn - 1 oz
How to make marinated carrots:
Clean and block carrots; cut peppers and onions and cook with carrots in salt water 10 minutes (until tender). Bring to boil vinegar, oil and sugar; add tomato soup, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce and pour over drained carrots and corn. Cook slowly just long enough to stir about 3 or 4 minutes.
