Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • cooking oil - 1/2 c
  • dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1 can
  • carrots - 1 lb
  • sliced onion - 1 item
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • can whole corn - 1 oz

How to make marinated carrots:

Clean and block carrots; cut peppers and onions and cook with carrots in salt water 10 minutes (until tender). Bring to boil vinegar, oil and sugar; add tomato soup, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce and pour over drained carrots and corn. Cook slowly just long enough to stir about 3 or 4 minutes. Store in refrigerator. Keeps indefinitely. Very good.
