Ingredients/Components
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- can tomato juice - 1 item
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- fresh carrots - 2 lb
How to make marinated carrots:
Slice carrots round and cook in salted water until tender, and drain. Place the other ingredients in a pot and cook until sugar dissolves. Pour over carrots while hot. Cool. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Keeps indefinitely.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
