Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- small green pepper - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- sliced carrots about 2 lb - 5 c
- medium sweet onion white or purple - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Cook carrots (do not overcook). Drain and cool. Cut onion and green pepper in round slices, then mix with carrots. Mix all other ingredients together, then pour over vegetables. Cover and marinate 12 hours or longer. Ready to serve.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
