Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- Dijon mustard - 1 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1/2 c
- red onion, sliced in thin rings - 1 item
- carrots fresh or frozen - 5 c
How to make marinated carrots:
Slice carrots on the diagonal or in crinkles, then blanch until crisp-tender (6 to 8 minutes). Add green pepper and onion. Mix together all other ingredients and pour over vegetables. This will keep up to 10 days.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
