Marinated carrot salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- Crisco oil - 1 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- large onion, sliced and separated into rings - 1 item
- carrots, peeled and sliced thin - 2 lb
- large green pepper, sliced into strips - 1 item
How to make marinated carrot salad:
Cook carrots and when still firm, drain (about 10 minutes). Mix tomato soup and sugar. Add vinegar, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Beat and add oil. Add vegetables and refrigerate.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Vegetables.
