Marinated brisket
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- onion salt - 1 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1 c
- red wine - 1 c
- juice of 2 limes
- can beef broth - 1 item
- well trimmed brisket - 1 item
- unsalted butter or margarine - 2 3
How to make marinated brisket:
Marinade:1 c. Worcestershire sauce1 c. red wine juice of 2 limes1 c. chopped parsley1 tsp. onion salt1 Tbsp. salt1 Tbsp. pepper1 can beef broth2 cloves garlic, minced2 to 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter or margarine Combine all ingredients for marinade. Pour over the brisket, which has been placed in a glass container; cover. Let set in refrigerator overnight.Place brisket, fat side down, on grill; sear on both sides. Wrap in foil; put back on grill or smoker and cook slowly for about 6 1/2 hours.
