Marinated bean salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 tsp
- vinegar
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1 item
- stalks celery, finely chopped - 4 item
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- jar pimento - 1 item
- can peas - 1 item
- can French-cut green beans - 1 item
- can green lima beans - 1 item
- finely chopped pepper - 1 item
- can wax beans or cut green beans - 1 item
How to make marinated bean salad:
Marinade:1 c. vinegar1/2 c. salad oil1 c. sugar1 tsp. salt1 tsp. water paprika Drain the beans, peas and pimento; mix together. Add the finely chopped pepper, celery and onion. Mix vinegar and sugar together until sugar dissolves. Add oil, salt, water and paprika. Pour dressing over all and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
