Marinara sauce



  • sugar - 2 3
  • medium onion - 1 item
  • olive oil - 2 3
  • basil leaves - 1 2
  • or larger can Italian peeled tomatoes San Marzano tomatoes best - 1 oz
  • to 4 cloves garlics - 3 item

How to make marinara sauce:

Blend tomatoes in blender. Set aside. Saute chopped onion and garlic in olive oil in a big pan. Pour in tomatoes and stir. Add basil and sugar to taste. Simmer over medium heat for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over 1 to 2 pounds of favorite pasta.
