Marinara sauce
Ingredients/Components
- basil
- Italian seasoning
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- medium onions, diced - 2 item
- can crushed tomatoes - 1 oz
- can diced tomatoes - 1 oz
- yellow pepper, diced - 1 item
- cloves mushrooms, drained and cut into small pieces - 4 item
- Megona - 1 Tbsp
How to make marinara sauce:
Brown onions, garlic, pepper and mushrooms. Add diced and crushed tomatoes. Add all other ingredients. Add salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours.This sauce can be poured over any pasta product, however I prefer to serve it over frozen cheese ravioli. Follow instructions on bag for cooking the ravioli.
