Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 12 oz
  • water - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts - 1 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • plus 4 Tbsp - 2 c

How to make marble brownies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Sift together the flour, soda and salt and set aside. Melt margarine and blend in brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla and water. Beat in eggs. Add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. After chocolate chips melt, swirl through mixture with a knife.
