Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- confectioners sugar
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- soft margarine - 1/2 c
- walnuts - 1 c
- maple flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- maple flavor - 1 Tbsp
How to make maple walnut cake:
Frosting:1 lb. confectioners sugar1/2 c. soft margarine1/8 tsp. salt3 to 4 Tbsp. milk1 Tbsp. maple flavoring Cream together eggs and sugar. Add Crisco, maple flavor and milk. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix together with creamed mixture and add walnuts. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool and frost with maple frosting. Garnish with walnuts.Frosting: Cream together frosting ingredients.
