Manhattan meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- barbecue sauce - 1/2 c
- jar apricot preserves - 1 oz
- torn fresh bread - 2 c
How to make manhattan meatballs:
Combine meat, crumbs, onion, eggs, parsley and salt. Mix lightly. Shape into 1-inch balls. Brown margarine and drain. Place in 2-quart casserole. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Makes about 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Ground beef.
