Manhattan clam chowder
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- potatoes, cubed - 6 item
- cans clams with juice, minced or chopped - 2 item
How to make manhattan clam chowder:
Saut?© onions in butter until transparent, not brown. Add cubed/washed potatoes in cooked onions. Cover with water only to top of potatoes. Cover and cook on medium heat until potatoes are soft (keep checking). Add cans of clams (minced or chopped) with the juice to the potato/onion mixture. Stir. Now add tomato soup, salt and pepper; stir again and heat through until hot. Easy and delicious! Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
