Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 c
- water - 3 c
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1 tsp
- peeled, half-ripe mango slices - 12 c
How to make mango butter:
Add water to mangoes and cook until soft enough to mash. Press through a sieve if the mangoes are stringy. Add sugar and spices. Cook slowly for 45 minutes or until thick.
