Mandarin orange cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- pkg - 4 oz
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- can crushed pineapple - 15 oz
- carton frozen whipped topping, thawed - 9 oz
- can mandarin oranges, undrained - 11 oz
- yellow cake mix without pudding - 1 pkg
How to make mandarin orange cake:
Combine mix, oranges, oil and eggs and beat 2 or 3 minutes until smooth. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch round pans. Bake 25 minutes in a 350° oven or until done. Cool in pans and remove to cake racks. Combine remaining items and beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Let rest 5 minutes and spread between layers and on top and sides. Chill at least 2 hours.
