Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- egg whites - 1 c
- coconut flakes - 5 c
How to make macaroons:
Beat egg whites until soft mounts form. Add 1 c. sugar and beat until peaks are stiff. Fold in remaining sugar and all other ingredients. Drop onto greased, floured cookie sheets. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Coconut.
