Macaroni salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- cubed cheddar cheese
- celery seed to taste - 1 item
- chopped dill pickles
- package frozen peas - 1 oz
- pinch of onion powder - 1 item
- pinch of garlic powder - 1 item
- cooked macaroni shells - 1 lb
- celery salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make macaroni salad:
Rinse peas under cold water in colander. Drain well. In bowl toss the macaroni with the peas. Add the onion, celery, dill pickles, cheese, celery seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper. Toss and mix well. Add mayo and a little celery salt. Toss well and taste. Adjust seasonings to your taste.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Elbow macaroni.
