Macaroni and shrimp salad
Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1 c
- chopped celery
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 5 item
- green onions, chopped - 1/3 c
- uncooked salad macaroni 12 oz - 3 c
- cans small shrimp, rinsed with cold water and drained - 2 item
- When cooked, rinse with cold water and drain
- Miracle Whip salad dressing or 3/4 c - 2 c
How to make macaroni and shrimp salad:
Cook macaroni in 3 quarts boiling, salted water for 10 minutes. When cooked, rinse with cold water and drain. Add remaining ingredients to macaroni.Dressing:1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing1 c. buttermilk2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing or 3/4 c. mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp. chili sauce and 1 tsp. horseradish Mix together. Add dressing to macaroni and refrigerate.
