Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine - 1 item
  • Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • cottage cheese - 1 c
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • onion, chopped - 1/2 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
  • uncooked macaroni - 8 oz

How to make macaroni and cheese pie:

Cook macaroni. Drain. Add cottage cheese, Cheddar cheese, salt and two eggs. Mix well. Pour into greased medium-sized baking dish. Mix Parmesan cheese and one egg. Pour over top. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 45 minutes to one hour or until top is browned. Saute onion and green pepper in margarine until tender. Add tomato sauce. Serve as a side sauce.
